They say necessity is the mother of invention, and nothing supports this theory more than the creation of the QuiqLite pocket light. A ten-year veteran of the Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol created the QuiqLite pocket light. When the officer found himself literally in the dark after his flashlight (awkwardly tucked under his arm as he wrote a citation) slipped and smashed to the ground, he knew that a practical and reliable light source was needed.
