This Stinger model features a rechargeable sub-C Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery. This battery chemistry is optimized for LED flashlights and furnishes a longer runtime under high discharge conditions. Plus it is rechargeable 1,000 times and is more environmently friendly.
