LZMX Knee/Shin Guards

Applications
Cycling: The LZMX are an excellent choice for racers or all-mountain riders looking for light, cool, knee/shin protection. Riders looking for maximum coverage can consider our Landing Zone Knee/Shin guards.

Off-Road: The LZMX are a great choice for riders with longer inseams that want shin protection from the bottom of their knees to the top of their boots. And while they're great when worn under pants, they're a perfect match for MX shorts or over-the-boot pants with zip-off legs. The mesh cuff keeps the knee armor snugly in place, and the rubber inserts on the inside of the knees allows you to grip the tank without destroying your graphics. Riders with shorter inseams and/or the desire for less mass going into the boot can consider our LZ Shorty Kneeguards.

RockGardn LZMX Knee/Shin Guards

The LZMX Knee/Shin Guards are designed to work with dirt bike and ATV applications, as well as DH/Freeride applications.

Fitting
The LZMX come in 3 sizes, Small, Medium, and Large. All sizes are the same length (12 inches from the center of the knee cap to the bottom of the shin), so the circumference of the thigh cuff and the strap lengths define the difference in sizing. Holding your leg straight, measure from the top of your kneecap to the point on your thigh 4 inches above. At that point, measure around your thigh.
• Small: 15-16.5 inches
• Medium: 17-18.5 inches
• Large: 19-22.5 inches

Because the materials in the thigh cuff stretch, these measurements are approximate. If you're at the end of one size and beginning of another, make your selection based on your preference for overall tension.

Care Instructions:
Flak Jacket, Landing Zone Knee/Shin and Elbow/Forearm Guard: DO NOT put this body armor in your washing machine or dryer, as this could cause damage. The best way to clean your gear is to rinse it under hot water in a shower, then hang dry.
