NAVIGATE PENTAGONLIGHT from CopQuest PENTAGONLIGHT from CopQuest HOME WEAPON LIGHTS |
The PentagonLight MD2 LaserLight integrates two essential elements into one compact system: tactical illumination and bystander casualty reduction. When the military carries out urban warfare or when SWAT team conducts tactical operation, this integration of the light and laser with ARMS #17S compact throw lever mount reduces overall form factor. The mount easily engages and disengages the entire unit from the Picatinny rail, thus reducing the preparation complexity for night-time operations, and allows quick and easy system maintenance. As a 6-volt tactical light system, MD2 Xenon LaserLight is pre-configured with a 70-lumen xenon light. The light source is protected by an anti-scratch tempered glass lens and is maximally focused at factory for achieving the greatest distance and center brightness. The xenon bulb is damped against recoil by the internal spring loaded back-plate deflection mechanism. MD2 LaserLight features an offset visible red laser sight for target assistance and threat deterrence.
The laser can be calibrated for windage and elevation with a laser bore sight kit. The laser sight module is interchangeable with an optional side LED light for providing supplemental IR source, low visibility red light, or reduced signature NVG-compatible light. Manufactured by high precision CNC machine from aerospace grade aluminum with anti-abrasive, anti-corrosive, and anti-reflective military spec Type III hard anodized exterior finish, MD2 Xenon LaserLight is rugged and durable for illumination in the most critical environments. The anti-reflective finish reduces glare and minimizes signature for ensuring stealth. MD2 LaserLight is preconfigured with TR3 straight-cord tri-mode remote pressure pad switch. Positioned in momentary mode, the light can be activated by pressing the remote pressure pad. Turn tail-cap slightly to position in constant-on mode. Constant-on switches light on continuously without pressing, and is also useful in the event of remote pressure pad or cord failure. The pentagonal shape tail-cap facilitates rotation for operating the switch mechanism, including positioning the switch in lockout mode. This tail-cap is compact and light-weight, allowing the system to have better form factor. Additional tail-caps are available for alternate methods of switching operation. An independent recessed push ON/OFF tail-cap switch easily activates the offset laser and can be placed in safety lockout position. All connections are sealed with double O-rings for fail-safe protection against water leakage. MD2 LaserLight features universal and flexible PentagonLigh™ Interchangeable Light Source (ILS) System, ensuring compatibility for other alternative light sources in meeting your mission specific needs. Each MD2 LaserLight is individually serialized for inventory control. The unit can be easily serviced in the field with a Field Service Kit, including the option of replacing the front tempered glass lens if damaged during an unexpected frontal impact. MD2 LaserLight is the choice for the military and law enforcement when illumination and precision are both at the top of consideration. • Xenon Gas-Filled Primary Lamp• Textured Beam Smoothing Reflector Lens • Offset 5mW Red Laser • Aerospace Grade Aluminum Body • Ultra Compact ARMS #17S Throw Lever Mount • Tempered Glass Front Lens • Military Spec Type III Hard Anodized Exterior Finish • Complete Double O-Ring Sealing • Pre-configured with TR3 Straight Cord Remote Pressure Pad Tail-Cap • Brightness: 70 Lumens • Run-Time: 60 Minutes • Batteries: Two CR-123A (Primary Light) / One A544 Alkaline (Laser) • Tail-Cap: TR3 Tri-Mode Tail-Cap • Bezel Size: 1.25" • Length: 5.5" (140 mm) • Weight: 8.0 oz.
