Blackbox™ two way radios are very powerful and are built for durability. This Blackbox™ VHF radio offers a full 4 watts of transmit power and support for 16 channels. Channel scan and monitor functions are also supported. These professional radios offer a great value, providing the same level of performance and reliability of radios selling for over twice the price!

The Blackbox™ radio supports 121 private line codes (38 CTCSS, 83 CDCSS). Other features include a battery saver function along with a low battery alert. A time-out timer is also provided to help prevent accidental transmissions.

Durability will not be a problem with a Blackbox™ radio. These radios are tough! They have an all-metal chassis and are built to military specifications. Even with this toughness, the radios are still amazingly small and lightweight. The Blackbox™ radio is only 4.25 (L) x 2.1 (W) x 1.5 (H) inches (108 x 54.2 x 37.4 mm) and weighs 9.6 ounces (273g) (including battery).

This Blackbox™ radio kit includes a 5-6 hour NiMH battery, 12 hour desktop charger, carrying strap, and belt clip.

This Blackbox™ VHF radio operates on VHF frequencies. It can be programmed for frequencies in the range of 150 Mhz to 174 Mhz. Two way radios operating on VHF frequencies perform best outside, or in and around wood structures.
