The Promi-Check is a new low-cost solution for field screening of BAC (Blood Alcohol Content). While it is not designed for evidentiary disposition, it can be used as an investigative tool to confirm alcohol consumption. It's ideal for street cops, custody intake, juvenile detention, transportation, schools or any application where alcohol screening is desired.

It functions under the principal that blood alcohol is dissipated through the lungs. A deep breath sample is taken from the test subject by blowing through a sterile mouthpiece. An audible signal on the device indicates when a good sample is complete. The backlit LCD displays the corresponding BAC in just seconds.

Operation of the device is intuitive. It is powered by two AAA batteries, stores the last ten tests and is self-calibrating between each use. The solid-state sensor module lasts for 200 tests and can be easily replaced by the user.

Individually-wrapped, single-use mouthpieces are available in bulk. The unit includes mouthpieces and soft case.

The unit will perform 200 tests after which the alcohol sensor module will require replacement. Sensor replacement is easy and inexpensive.
