The LEDs provide 3 way, hands free lighting for short, medium, and long distances. Plus a 90 degree tilting head lets you zero in on the source you're illuminating. Streamlight Septor Headlight

The Septor uses an array of seven, super-bright LEDs in a 3-way lighting combination for the varying needs of the user.

1. Short-Range illumination setting uses Single LED for a run time of 120 hours. Use this seting for close work such as map reading.

2. Medium-Range illumination uses Three LEDs for a run time of 40 hours. Use this setting for illuminating paths or lighting a work area.

3. Long-Range illumation uses all Seven LEDs for a run time of 18 hours. Use this setting for flood lighting and illuminating distant objects.
